Varde Theater and Music House
The new Theater and Music House, which will take place in old industrial buildings in the middle of Varde city, will form the framework for a place where there is room for performing arts, magical experiences and communities. The house will be the municipality's new gathering point, where not only theater and music will have a place, but also communities, events, conferences and much more, have the opportunity to bring the people together.
It will be a project with sustainable solutions in mind. Sustainable solutions, circular economy and, as far as possible, the use of recycled materials would be put aside. LETH & GORI are the architects and overall consultants behind the project, and Stouenborg will act as theater technical consultants for sound, lighting, video, stage technology and AV equipment throughout the building.
The project is approved and supported by the AP Møller Foundation, Local and Infrastructure Foundation, 7-kanten, Smedeværkstedet and Varde Municipality. And in addition to LETH & GORI and Stouenborg, OJ Consulting Engineers, Gade og Mortensen Acoustics, road landscape, fortheloveoflightcph and stage room will be part of the project, each within their area of expertise.
